Privacy Policy

Last updated November 4, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Tenant Line, operated by Dylan Ravine ("Tenant Line", "we", "us") collects, uses and protects information when property managers use our software and when tenants send text messages to a Tenant Line phone number.

Information we collect

  • From tenants: your mobile phone number, your name and unit (provided by your property manager), and the content of text messages you send to a Tenant Line number, including any photos.
  • From property managers: name, email address, company details, and the property, unit and tenant information you enter.
  • Automatically: basic technical information such as log data and cookies needed to keep you logged in.

How we use information

  • To receive maintenance requests by text, reply to them, and create maintenance tickets.
  • To let your property manager review, approve and dispatch repairs, and contact you about them.
  • To alert property managers about emergencies.
  • To operate, secure and improve the service.

Text messages are processed by an AI assistant to ask follow-up questions and summarize the request. We use message content only to provide the service, not to train AI models for other purposes.

SMS opt-in data

We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except service providers who help us deliver the service as described below.

Who we share information with

We share information only as needed to run Tenant Line:

  • With the property management company that manages your unit.
  • With the repair vendor your property manager sends to fix the issue (your name, phone number, unit and the request details), so they can contact you to schedule the repair.
  • With service providers that process data on our behalf: Twilio (text messaging and calls), Supabase (database and login), Anthropic (AI processing), Google (address lookup and maps), Resend (email) and Vercel (hosting).
  • When required by law or to protect someone's safety.

Data retention and security

We keep maintenance records for as long as the property management company uses Tenant Line, or as required by law. Each company's data is isolated from other companies, access requires a login, and data is encrypted in transit.

Your choices

  • Reply STOP to any Tenant Line number to stop receiving text messages. Reply HELP for help.
  • To access or delete your information, contact your property manager or email us at dylann.ravine@gmail.com.

Children

Tenant Line is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
